Influenced by  her studies of Leonardo da Vinci's "Golden Ratio" as well as the principles of the late 19th century Modernist, Frank Lloyd Write, who famously practiced the ideals of "Form follows Function", Petra adopted both of these equations into her work.  By adding a third dimension - Magnetism - into her finely crafted sculptures, Petra has not only revolutionized the functionality in jewelry design, but given it new and deeper meaning.
