UNITED HEART DESIGNER, PETRA AZAR, GIVES HER HEART TO THOSE WHO HAVE RECENTLY LOST THEIR JOBS OR HOMES
Petra Azar, Creator of the symbolic UNITED HEART JEWELRY LINE Is Giving Away Fourteen Hundred Sterling Silver Amulets to People Who Have Either Lost Their Job or Their Home.
New York, NY – One hundred of Petra Azar’s unique sterling silver hearts, designed as a metaphor for the ‘Magnetic Power of Love,’ will be given away by thirteen participating jewelers including Chicago, Detroit, and parts of the Midwest, in towns hit hardest by the economic slowdown.
Petra’s motive is heartfelt, as she has been an advocate for the underprivileged for many years. Each heart given away has a retail value of $199. Her generous donation for her “Mother’s Day Campaign has a retail value of over $250,000.
Says Petra: “There is so much more hunger for love and kindness than for bread in the world, we all must rethink how we want to live our lives, especially now, when so many good people have lost not only material values, but hope. I want to spread the simple news that they are not alone, that we are all together in this, because…yes, we are our brothers and sisters keepers.
A successful artist, entrepreneur and passionate civil rights activist, Petra strongly believes that it is her obligation to be successful in order to be able to do meaningful and substantial charity.
Petra’s designs are uniquely different from any piece of jewelry you’ve ever seen; yet they espouse classic elegance and beauty. Though each design is individually crafted to perfection, they all have one thing in common, their invisible magnetic power. To the eye, The United Heart appears to be a perfect heart shape, but when the center is pulled apart into two halves, one can feel the powerful draw of magnetic forces and it becomes evident why Petra is using the power of magnetic attraction to symbolize and visualize people’s most important need…to be together, to be loved and understood. Many of her creations are featuring two contrasting colors or materials, a metaphor for her unshakable belief that Unity is achieved through Diversity.
Price points vary from $100 to $10,000. Says Azar, “I created The United Heart as a global symbol of Love and Unity. It must be affordable to everyone who wants to identify with its powerful talismanic symbolism. To those who cannot afford a United Heart I will often give one, because I truly believe in its powerful message of Love and Kindness."
Petra’s charismatic line of wearable modern art has already attracted VIP’s, including the legendary group ‘La Belle’, as well as The View’s Sherrie Shepherd (see photo on left), Pastor Paula White, and renowned gospel signer Ernestine Dillard.
